Travel Health InsuranceDo I have Travel Insurance?No one wants to be away from home and have a medical emergency. Yet emergencies can happen anywhere. You can have peace of mind knowing that your benefit plan covers 100% of the cost of medical emergencies (in excess of your Provincial Health Insurance Plan) while you or your dependents are traveling outside of Canada (or outside your home province within Canada) for up to 180 days per trip. Manulife offers coverage to all countries except those that are listed under “Travel Advisories” by the Canadian Government. If you are traveling outside Canada or the United States, print this wallet size reference card and carry it with your Manulife Member Card. When an emergency does occur, contact Manulife’s World Travel Assistance Program as soon as possible. Expenses in excess of $200 will be paid for directly by Allianz Global Assistance, provided you contact them before any expenses are incurred. If Allianz Global Assistance is not contacted, or if expenses are $200 or less, you are responsible for payment and may submit a claim for reimbursement using the Health Claim Form.
